I use constructive theology to describe the work of identifying and building systems of beliefs and attitudes which ground a new, more intentional way of understanding / living in the world.

theology / theologies

Added 09 April 2026

I understand “a theology” to be a set of beliefs, assumptions, and attitudes and mental/spiritual framework which comes from reflecting on the nature of the sacred/divine and how all things related to the sacred/divine.

I prefer to use the term theologies when thinking about communal, collective, or even historical understandings of the sacred / divine. Each individual, community, and tradition holds slightly different beliefs, assumptions, and attitudes due to their unique perspective and experience.
